A Sagittarius zodiac charm by David Anderson, Norway. The charm is crafted in silver gilt with the black zodiac symbol against a sky blue guillochée enamel background. 

Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the zodiac and are known for their faithfulness, intelligence and sympathy. Because of their mix of traits, they are wonderful and loving characters. 

Widely considered one of the best Norwegian goldsmiths and silversmiths, David Anderson's high quality artworks brought him immediate success, and his firm were awarded a gold medal at the 'Exposition Universelle' in Paris, 1900. When David died, in 1901, his son Arthur took over the company and changed his surname to David-Andersen. He then introduced the enamel technique and the Art Nouveau style receiving a wide consent.
